This small Art Deco apartment building was erected in 1933 by the architect Willem (Guillaume) Vermeiren, who set up his office in the former garage in 1938. The red-brick façade, enhanced with imitation and reconstituted stone, opens beneath a continuous canopy onto a porch flanked by heavy pilasters with a frieze of masks and a double wrought-iron door. A trapezoidal oriel marks the entrance bay; the attic storey with terrace and pergola dates from 1953. The building is fronted by a garden enclosed by its original railing.
