Maison de rapport Art déco, avenue Paul Deschanel 122

Art Deco apartment house, signed and dated 1928 on the ground floor by the architect Charles Van Elst. The elevation has four storeys, the top one added in 1946 by the same architect. The façade in thin orange bricks is enhanced with bluestone, and its upper floors are marked by a multi-stepped oriel. The cornice survives, as does the original trapezoidal transom light with a metal frame and patterned glass; the house is recorded in the inventory.
