Terraced house in the Art Deco style built as a manufacturer's house for Trifon De Beule to designs by the architect Adolf Keppens of Zele, and dated 1931 by the year on its gable; the "De Droom" shoe factory behind it, originally reached through the carriage entrance of the neighbouring house on the right, has since been entirely converted into a shop (no. 19A). Built of red brick with decorative brickwork contrasting with white-painted mouldings and render, this single-fronted house has two bays and three storeys, the attic storey partly clad in slate-tiles. A narrow door bay has a round-arched door with ironwork in a stepped surround, below a narrow window with chamfered corners whose original leaded glass carries a geometric motif repeated in the other windows. On the left, a wider bay between pilaster strips has a three-sided bay window on the piano nobile beneath an iron balustrade, and the façade ends in a pointed gable bearing the date as ornament. The interior retains a recognisably interwar layout and Art Deco fittings, including a marble chimneypiece and leaded glass in the internal joinery. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
