Terraced house of 1938 designed by the surveyor Jan Van Goethem (Zele) for Placide De Block. This two-bay Art Deco house under a tiled pitched roof is marked by a taller door bay, with chevron-shaped half-windows filled with geometric leaded glass above a door with stepped jambs and geometric wrought ironwork. Contrasting red and brown brickwork underlines the composition; on the ground floor, two leaded-glass panels depict a parrot. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
