Town house with an Art Deco façade, built to designs of 1926 by the architect Adolf Keppens of Zele for the flax merchant Cesar Fiers. A single-fronted house of three bays and two storeys under a pseudo-mansard roof with two dormers, it has a façade with features the inventory regards as typical of Keppens: a taller door projection on the right, pilaster strips with brick friezes of drip and dentil motifs, and a wooden cornice on brackets. The rectangular gate and window openings with chamfered upper corners keep their original three-part joinery with leaded glass in the transoms, as does the rectangular front door. The interplay of orange and red brick with decorative brickwork, the ashlar plinth and the white-painted surfaces around the windows are, according to the inventory, further recognisable features of the designer. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
