Town house designed in 1940 by the Ghent architect Jan Albert De Bondt for Octaaf Van Malderen. An Art Deco house of two storeys and two bays, it has a geometric façade accentuated by the contrast between the ashlar lower part and the slightly bay-like brick upper part. The narrow door bay contains a front door with two side lights, leaded glass and original joinery and handle. The rectangular windows and the horizontal dormer have partly renewed joinery, and a broad, interrupted overhanging wooden cornice crowns the façade. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
