Town house in a sober Art Deco style, designed in 1926 by W. Vormezeele, who himself lived in the Land van Waaslaan, for the contractor Frans Vormezeele. Of two bays and three storeys over a cellar, under an asymmetrical pitched roof, it has a brown-brick cornice façade on a natural stone plinth, beneath a wooden gutter on brackets. The combination of several brick bonds, decorative brickwork and cemented parts is, according to the inventory, typical of Art Deco. On the right, a large rectangular carriage entrance with a rendered lintel, with two leaves beneath a fanlight with wrought-iron grilles, leads to the house and the garden; on the upper floors this fully cemented bay has a rectangular window and then a mitre-shaped one. On the left, a wide, low segmental-arched window framed by diagonally laid brick carries on the first floor a two-sided brick oriel on a stepped rendered corbel, whose brickwork continues as the parapet of the balcony above; the joinery is recent. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
