House in the Art Deco style built for Mr and Mrs Sabbe-Castreuil to a 1928 design by the architect W. Vormezeele, from which the executed building departs. Of two bays and three storeys under a pitched roof, it has a cornice façade beneath a white-painted wooden cornice, in red brick with decorative brickwork alternating with rendered and painted surfaces. The first floor carries a rendered trapezoidal oriel with a rectangular triple window, crowned by a balcony with an iron railing added under an application of 1929, and the window bay an elongated diamond-shaped window; on the ground floor, the window and door have strongly chamfered upper corners. Around the openings, the cement work bears geometric and stylised motifs that the inventory describes as characteristic of Art Deco. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
