Art Deco town house for which a building application was submitted in 1927 by Maurice Nicase, who worked in import and export; the file names neither an architect nor a contractor. Of two unequal bays and three storeys under a red-tiled pitched roof with a wooden cornice on modillions, it has a red-brick façade on a low blue stone plinth, faced at top and bottom with a decorative cement render of narrow, rounded vertical flutes. The wide right-hand window bay rises higher as a projecting section, joined by a stepped transition to the recessed central part; on the first floor it carries a three-sided oriel on a stepped cemented corbel, crowned by an ornamented rendered band, and above that a wide hexagonal window. The narrow door bay on the left has a three-part fanlight separated from the door by a cemented transom; all the joinery in the façade is recent. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
