Town house designed in 1929 in a sober Art Deco style for the stockbroker Frans Van Beneden, who had already had no. 112 of the street built; the architect's signature, hard to read in the file, is probably that of G. Hallaert. Of two unequal bays and three storeys under a flat roof, it has a red-brick façade largely rendered in coarse imitation stone, beneath a wooden gutter on modillions; the Art Deco parapet planned above the cornice was not executed. The fully rendered ground floor has three basket-handle-arched openings in moulded surrounds, whose joinery survives: in the centre the wooden front door with a wrought-iron grille, on the left the double wooden garage door, on the right the vestibule window. On the first floor the left-hand bay carries a rendered convex oriel with four windows, and the rendered top floor four coupled windows in a moulded surround; the joinery of the upper floors is recent. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
