Town house in a sober Art Deco style built for the Misses C. and J. Schoors to a 1932 design by the architect Guillaume Peeters, whose name is inscribed on the façade; the inventory places it probably among the mature works of the architect, active mainly around the Koninklijkelaan in Berchem during the interwar period. Terraced, of three bays, it has two storeys under a slate pseudo-mansard, with a simple cornice façade of red brick in cross bond, contrasting with natural stone, on a bluestone plinth. The asymmetrical composition, reflecting the division into main and secondary rooms, accentuates the two side bays with breastwork panels, a triple window on the upper floor and a dormer with a curved pediment; the alternation of rectangular, round-arched, basket-arched and segmental-arched openings is characteristic. The wooden joinery of the door with its peephole and of the windows survives, as do some leaded-glass transoms. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
