Art Deco town house built for Leo Kuylen to a 1927 design by the architects Eduard Bilmeyer and Henri Claes; the left-hand bay was raised later. Semi-detached, in brick, of three bays and two storeys under a saddle roof with a skylight, it is fronted by a small garden enclosed by an iron railing of Art Deco design. The brick cornice façade is articulated horizontally by a bluestone plinth, a projecting cornice and bands; the corner bay combines a garage door with a transom and a bay window with a balcony beneath the roof overhang, the central entrance bay carries a relief depicting a windmill in a lozenge-shaped field, and the right-hand bay a bay window with a balcony. The joinery and the leaded small-paned glazing are very intact, as is the iron fence; the characteristic trapezoidal form recurs in the window frames, the fence and the roof overhang. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
