Pair of mirror-image houses built in Ekeren following a 1938 building permit application, for Jos Koekhoven and Adriaenssens; the plans are signed by an architect based in Berendrecht whose name is illegible. Built in yellow brick, with two bays and two storeys under a pitched roof, they belong to a sober Art Deco, with projecting and recessed volumes, rounded balconies, rectangular windows and round-arched balcony doors. The plan remains conventional, with paired staircases. They are recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
