Apartment building in sober Art Deco style, erected for the pharmacist Raymond De Nave to a 1932 design by architects Alfred Portielje and Jan De Braey, and built by the Merksem contractor Entreprises Générales Belgica. On a reinforced-concrete structure, the six-storey façade in natural stone and yellow Belvédère brick, with deep horizontal joints, emphasises a side axis of three-sided bay windows and ends in a blind attic. The bronze shopfront of the pharmacy survives. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
