On the corner of avenue de l'Orée, a pair of Art Deco apartment buildings designed in 1930 by and for the architect A. Varlet. The five storeys combine a bluestone ground floor with upper floors of brick and white imitation stone forming quoin-like patterns, enlivened by recesses and projections, balconies and a canted bay crowned by a geometric gable. Each building has two flats per floor, served by one lift for the masters and another for the servants.
