Art Deco apartment building designed in 1933 by the architect J.-B. Van Den Broeck. Its symmetrical seven-storey elevation, the top floor an attic storey, has four bays on the upper floors, the outer ones treated as rectangular oriels and the central ones separated by a wide ornamented pier; the rendered upper floors are crossed by monumental brick piers. The bluestone ground floor opens through a catenary-arched pedestrian door in a stepped surround decorated with spirals, beneath a floral frieze; a frieze of glyphs runs below the cornice, and the entrance hall retains its marble, panelling and mirror. The building is recorded in the statutory inventory.
