Art Deco corner apartment building at the corner of avenue Paul Deschanel, designed in 1927 by the architect M. Claes. The five-storey brick elevation under a flat roof, enhanced with rendered areas, has symmetrical façades of three bays towards the avenue and two towards the street, joined at an obtuse angle. Towards the avenue, giant pilasters frame the bays, the outer ones stacking a trapezoidal bay window on a brick corbel and an oriel of the same plan under a bell-shaped roof. Towards the street, each bay pairs a door with a narrow staircase window whose metal glazing bars form Art Deco patterns; the roof is edged by a parapet punctuated by fluted pilasters linked by wrought-iron railings. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
