The "Villa des Bertinis" is a three-façade Art Deco villa built in 1932 for Léon Henriet, who already lived in the Venneborg district; the building file contains no plans and names neither an architect nor a contractor. According to the inventory, the design is related to the Villa José opposite, whose designer is also unknown, but it is more classical and lacks that villa's clear Amsterdam School influence. The spacious house of two bays and two storeys under a high hipped roof of black tiles has front and side façades in brown brick on a stone plinth, with cement bands and surrounds painted white. Both façades are marked by a heavy rectangular bay window over two storeys, with a cement facing bearing Art Deco decoration, topped by a railing in front of an attic window; the fanlights of the windows are filled with polychrome Art Deco stained glass. The corner porch with angular arcades and a heavy corner pier is surmounted by a cartouche with the name "VILLA DES BERTINIS"; the villa is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
