House with a polychrome Art Deco façade, designed in 1933 by the architect Lode Van Marcke for Marinus Jochem; more modernist in approach than its neighbours, it stands out in the street with its bright colours and pared-down Art Deco tending towards modernism. Panels of yellow and green brick alternate with a large ribbed vertical strip in green cimorné, which separates the narrow door bay from the wide window bay and makes the house unique in the district. The façade is crowned by a bluestone panel with a dentil frieze in geometric Art Deco; the front-garden fence designed by the architect survives. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
