Art Deco bridge spanning the Charleroi canal between rue Ropsy Chaudron and rue Léon Delacroix, inaugurated on 23 December 1943 and dated '1945' on the parapet; it is recorded in the inventory. It replaced a first bridge of 1931, bombed on 17 May 1940. Entirely faced with bluestone, the reinforced-concrete girder structure has three spans on battered piers. The parapet combines blocks, some carved with the coats of arms of Brabant, Brussels and Anderlecht and with rams' heads, with a wrought-iron railing of interlaced scrolls. The piers carry pillars carved with market scenes and topped by a stylised vase; on the south side they are flanked by monumental stone staircases.
