A luxurious Art Deco apartment building commissioned by Mademoiselle Rossignon from Antoine Courtens in 1928, listed in 1988 and 2001. It is dominated by a semicircular rotunda of eight storeys in reinforced concrete clad in washed granito, crowned by a seven-pointed star composition evoking the seven streets of the Étoile roundabout. The recessed top floor opens onto two terraces; the dome originally housed a shared smoking room and reading room. The interior decoration is refined: polychrome marbles, copper pillars, frosted glass, ironwork and woodwork. Together with the Hôtel Haerens, designed in the same year, it is one of Courtens's two major works in Brussels.
