Villa in the so-called "Dutch style", an Art Deco idiom influenced by the Amsterdam School, built in Ekeren by NV Nationaal Grondbezit, the firm of the Dutch contractor Willem Sebastiaan Van der Sterre, to a 1931 design. It was built for the couple Willem and Clara De Ruysscher-Reuters, modelled on Van der Sterre's own villa. It stands out for its monumental bell-shaped tiled roof and its conical corner chimney. It belongs to a group of houses in the same style in the neighbourhood. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
