Symmetrical pair of semi-detached Art Deco town houses, built for Hendrik Vervoort under a 1935 building permit; the inventory names no architect. Each has two storeys and two bays under a mansard roof, with a façade of dark brick on a bluestone plinth that continues into the door jambs and the breastworks of the ground-floor windows, beneath which are grilled cellar windows. The façade decoration consists of typical geometric Art Deco ornaments in artificial stone; the ground-floor windows and the entrance have stained-glass transoms with geometric motifs, the windows have rounded mullions and transoms, and the doors a small grilled window of coloured stained glass. Above the ground floor, finished with brick-on-edge courses, the upper storey has full-width bay windows, those of the entrance bays with a rounded balcony with canopies and a tubular-iron balustrade; the wide dormers of the slate-clad mansard rest against the taller corner piers. The houses are recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
