Modest villa in the so-called Dutch style — Art Deco influenced by the Amsterdam School — built to a 1931 design for the company Nationaal Grondbezit, the firm of the Dutch contractor Willem Sebastiaan Van der Sterre. It was built together with an identical house on the adjoining plot in Maria-Theresialei. The two-bay building has one storey and an additional floor within the steep mansard hipped roof covered with dark tiles and with wide eaves; the corner entrance is covered by a balcony on pillars. The villa is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
