Villa Casa Mia — Anvers

Modest Art Deco villa of a rare type, named "Casa Mia", built in Ekeren for Alphonse Vandemeulebroucke to a 1927 design by Van Laarhoven. The square, two-storey volume with rendered façades is topped by an overhanging pyramid roof. The entrance bay, with a projecting surround, is crowned by a brick relief; the other bay has a three-sided ground-floor bay window topped by a balcony with an iron balustrade. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
