Pair of similar Art Deco town houses designed by the architect Charles Rifflart in 1933. The dark-brown brick façades, enhanced with roughcast elements on a bluestone base, have on the ground floor a wide window with an angled side towards the porch, whose rounded canted wall is pierced by letterboxes. Wide rectangular bay windows, a shared widely projecting cornice and mansard roofs with wide dormers complete the group. The original doors have glazed geometric patterns; at no. 71, the entablature is decorated at each end with a panel bearing a sun and the cornice rests on two modillions carved with a stylised floral motif. The group is recorded in the inventory.
