These two Art Deco town houses in Deurne were built in 1925 as investment properties by and for the building firm of the brothers H. Spiessens-Van Genechten; the building file names no architect. Forming the corner of the street, they have corniced façades in brown-red brick, articulated by broad pilaster strips, with white natural stone and imitation stone decorated with geometric and floral Art Deco motifs. In 1941, no. 93 was converted into a building with three flats under the coordination of the architect Jos. Gijsen. They are recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
