Town house in a moderate Art Deco style, built for Alex. Prud'homme to a design by Jos. Bascourt (1925), one of the very last works of the architect, who died in 1927 shortly after its completion. Closing the south side of the Eglantierlaan, the three-bay, three-storey house under a mansard roof had to be raised to the height of its neighbour at the request of the seller of the land, the company Extensions et Entreprises Anversoises. The cornice façade is of brick in cross bond up to half height, its upper part being clad in a render imitating natural stone; its most striking features are the round fanlight of the door, in a heavy surround with scrollwork, and the surviving wooden door with a wrought-iron grille.
