Town house in the Art Deco style, built for the insurer Frederick-Alfred Knight to a 1935 design by the architect François Roussel, who was active mainly on the Belgian coast; the inventory considers it an anomaly in his known work, and its rather conventional design sets it apart from the architecture of the Exhibition district. Seven metres wide, it has three storeys under a flat roof with a flat projecting cornice. The two-bay upper part is in orange-red Ravels brick on a ground-floor base of white Savonnières stone, pierced by basket-handle and round-arched openings. A three-sided bay window on stepped corbels marks the bel-étage; a white-stone relieving arch and frieze planned in the design were not executed. Original wrought-iron grilles with spiral motifs decorate the front door, the garage door and the toilet window. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
