Apartment house with business premises in the Art Deco style, built for Arthur Baekelmans to a 1933 design by the contractor A. Der Kinderen; the ground-floor garage belonged to a laundry, now gone, built at the same time behind the main building, and two rental flats occupied the upper floor. Terraced, of two unequal bays and three storeys under a flat roof, it has a façade with a stepped top, faced in natural stone on a bluestone plinth, whose asymmetrical composition accentuates the wide side bay with a bow window on the first floor. The breastworks bear panels with garlands and flower baskets, and the lintels have a scalloped edge. The wrought-iron entrance door and garage door, with a geometric Art Deco pattern, survive, whereas the window frames have been renewed. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
