Town house in a restrained Art Deco style, built in Wilrijk to a 1928 design by the architect Gérard Saenen for Jean Foriers. It is an early work by Saenen, who graduated from the Antwerp Academy that same year and whose later work is in a modernist style. The two-bay, two-storey façade under a slate pseudo-mansard, in red-brown brick on a bluestone base, has broad panels of vertically laid brick above the openings; the wide bay opens on the ground floor with a three-sided rendered bay window, topped on the upper floor by a balcony with an undulating wrought-iron railing. The wooden eaves on corbels carry a zigzag motif, and the original front door in textured glass set in decorative wrought iron survives. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
