Maison de rapport Art déco, boulevard Lambermont 454

Asymmetrical Art Deco house of flats, designed in 1924 by the architect O. Moerman for his own account. Its rendered façade, enhanced with orange brick, rises beneath a mansard and flat roof above a plinth of red marble rubble. The main bay is marked by a two-storey curved projection beneath a terrace, while a recessed entrance porch with a canted side is topped by a slightly curved balcony. Foliage in bas-relief and wrought-iron railings complete the decoration. The cornice with its many modillions, the elaborate door with openings and the front-garden railing survive; the house is recorded in the inventory.
