Art Deco rental house of asymmetrical composition, designed in 1937 by the architect Émile Vande Weghe, who signed it on the base. The yellow-brick façade, partly laid on edge, is set off with bluestone; each bay is marked at every level by two parallel stone string courses. The door, with curved jambs, opens beneath a lintel forming a canopy, topped by a pointed wall section carrying a metal lantern. The projecting main bay has windows with colonnette mullions beneath projecting entablatures, those of the upper floors pointed in plan. The cornice and the joinery, with stained glass in the transom, survive; the building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
