The present building dates from 1929; it replaces a building damaged during the First World War and then subject to a street-alignment order in 1923. It was built by the Société d'Entreprises de Constructions et de Travaux publics d'Arras, with the architects Paul Dupuis and Albert Picy supervising the works. Its concrete facade combines wall tiling on the ground and first floors, brick facing and a three-light bow window. It is Art Deco in the geometry of its forms and window sills; a glazed stoneware gargoyle recalls the original fishmonger's shop. The spiral ironwork of the shop door is by the contractor Edouard Delamotte.
