A first building used as a tavern, built in 1850, was destroyed by bombing during the First World War. It was rebuilt in the Art Deco style between 1923 and 1927; the progress inspections of the works were certified by the Arras architects Henri Chantriaux and Maillet. Built of concrete on a narrow plot, the building has two storeys and an attic above the shop. The canted window openings and sills, the stepped gable that geometrises the Flemish gable and the lozenge-patterned railings express this style. The Inventory notes that the facade is in poor condition.
