This building replaces a commercial building destroyed during the First World War and subject to a street-alignment order. It was only built in 1929, following the plan drawn up that year by the Arras architects André Teppe and Pierre Lavanant, which was strictly followed. Built of concrete, it has a shop on the ground floor, two storeys and a mansard attic pierced by a dome. It is in the Art Deco style, as shown by the geometric decoration in cartouches, the canted bow window and the wrought-iron railings with curves and spirals.
