Modest town house with an Art Deco façade, designed in 1925 by the young local architect Gustaaf D'Heedene; the permit file is in the name of Eugeen D'Heedene, and the architect himself lived in the house from 1928 at the latest. Of two bays and two storeys under a flat roof, it has a cornice façade of red-brown brick, rich in decorative elements of white stone or imitation stone, on a blue-stone plinth, crowned by a stone cornice with geometric Art Deco friezes. Flat pilasters give the façade a vertical rhythm; the front door, flanked by two narrow sidelights with grilles, sits in a white-stone surround with rich geometric Art Deco decoration, and ornamented stone panels separate the superposed windows. The architect reused this design in 1928 for a multi-family house on Sanderusstraat; the original joinery has been replaced. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
