House that architect Gustaaf D'Heedene built for himself in Deurne according to a 1931 building file, in the ornamental brick Art Deco based on the Amsterdam School that characterises his work. The brick cornice-topped façade, on a bluestone plinth, is dominated by a four-sided bay window rising to the cornice; the portal, framed in white natural stone, bears the architect's signature. The interior, entirely designed by him, had doors and a staircase painted in green, red and blue and a stained-glass dome above the stairwell. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
