Art Deco townhouse built for Louise Flipo to a 1930 design by Flor Van Reeth. This modest project belongs to the architect's mature work, at a time when he was involved in several major building projects from the final years of the religiously inspired "Pelgrim" movement; the inventory relates it to the Meulemeester house of 1928 in the Albert Grisarstraat. The three-bay terraced house has two storeys under a slate-clad pseudo-mansard; the sober cornice façade is in red brick with white stone for the window surrounds and bluestone for the plinth and door surround. Marked by a round-arched porch with a quarter-round surround in the left-hand bay, the elevation is articulated vertically by rising flat surrounds, and crowned by a frieze of brick-on-edge courses, a wooden cornice on brackets and elongated dormers. The wooden door with ironwork and a cast-iron boot scraper survive; the house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
