Maison bourgeoise, Bosmanslei 4 — Anvers

Modest eclectic town house built for H. Pierre to a 1908 design by architect Jos Wilrycx. A later owner, Frans De Laet, had the façade modernised into its present Art Deco form to a 1928 design by architect Louis De Vooght. This remodelling added a two-storey bow window, partial decorative rendering in wavy bands, the rest of the façade being painted white, a door canopy and a new cornice on brackets; the surviving timber joinery also dates from 1928. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
