Art Deco middle-class house designed in 1935 by the architect Albert Dankelman, within a particularly coherent row of buildings of the same period running from no. 48 to no. 56. The three-storey flat-roofed façade, in flame-fired brick with emphasised horizontal joints enhanced with green-toned imitation stone, has a door with curved jambs incorporating yellow ceramic tiles. The bow window, with a stepped base and black ceramic bands, is pierced by a ribbon window whose jambs and mullions bear bands of gilded mosaic; it carries a terrace with a tubular railing. An entablature with a frieze of upright bricks and geometric set-backs crowns the façade, whose joinery and front-garden railing have been preserved. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
