Town house of 1932 in Sint-Gillis-bij-Dendermonde, built by the merchant Jozef Octaaf De Lathouwer-Belon according to the land registry archives. Of three bays and two storeys under a tiled gabled roof, it has an Art Deco cornice façade with a colourful facing of orange-yellow brick, with bands and accents of red stretcher brick. Projecting rendered panels stress the bays vertically; they are crossed by stepped horizontal bands and crowned by decorated curved elements of the cornice, on elongated modillions. The bluestone plinth imitates rock, and the rectangular openings have rounded chamfered upper corners; the joinery survives except for the carriage door. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
