Art Deco middle-class house in the Streamline (ocean-liner) manner, designed by the architect Joe Ramaekers in 1937, who also signed the neighbouring house the same year. The three-storey façade under a flat roof combines purple brick on the ground floor with sanded yellow brick on the upper floors, enhanced with reconstituted stone. A two-storey turret-like projection faced with 'glass granite' and pierced by ribbon windows carries a terrace with an openwork brick parapet forming a planter. The entrance bay, pierced by oculi framed in 'glass granite', is dominated by a pier rising above the coved concrete cornice, with fixings for a flagpole. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
