Town house in a restrained Art Deco style, designed in 1930 by the architect Joan Coninck Westenberg for F. Germain, with a warehouse at the rear opening onto Boshovestraat. It illustrates the influence of contemporary Dutch architecture: sober use of brick and sculptural massing with horizontal lines set by deeply projecting cornices. The two-bay, two-storey façade with cornice, in brown brick on a bluestone base, is dominated by the massive rectangular brick oriel on the upper floor; the Art Deco front door and the windows with horizontal glazing bars survive. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
