Maison Art déco, rue Pierre Hap-Lemaître 38

House built in 1929 to designs by the architect Vital Coppe, with a three-storey Art Deco façade. The plinth is of bluestone with a barleycorn finish and the façade is faced in brick, white imitation stone being reserved for the door surround, the lintels and the small projecting bay. According to the inventory, the decorative brickwork, the imitation-stone modillions and the vertically glazed window frames define the idiom of the period, within an asymmetrical arrangement of openings. The house is recorded in the inventory.
