This two-bay house with asymmetrical bays, located in the centre of Arras near place d'Ipswich, was built around 1927, as shown by the building permit kept at the town hall. It is of concrete, covered with cream-coloured render, and its façade decoration is highlighted by pastel colours. According to the Inventory, it is in the Art Deco style, in the geometric strand characteristic of the 1920s: the projecting front section on the left ends in a straight corbelled pediment, and a frieze of projecting gear teeth contributes to this effect. Flower and fruit decoration set in cartouches adorns the window lintels. The house was studied in 2008 by the French general heritage inventory (Inventaire général du patrimoine culturel) as part of the thematic survey of Art Deco heritage in Arras.
