Ancien garage Schlosser — Arras

This car repair garage was built in 1929, the date inscribed on its pediment. It bore the name Garage Schlosser until the 1950s, and later that of Garage Willerval. Its white-painted concrete facade, with mouldings picked out in blue, stands out for its symmetry and the geometry of its canted pediment. Four fluted pilasters with geometric capitals frame the three bays. The building shows the characteristics of the Art Deco style, although the Inventory notes that its facade is in poor condition.
