Damaged by bombing during the First World War, this house was only rebuilt late, as shown by a building permit issued in 1930. Its designer remains unknown; the sculptures on the window breasts are by the Arras sculptor Yves de Coëtlogon, whose signature appears on the breast of the right-hand bay. Built of concrete with brick facing, with window surrounds and a cornice in exposed concrete, the façade has three bays in which the ground-floor and first-floor windows are linked by a moulded surround. The bas-reliefs of shells, fruit and plant ornament on the window breasts are its only decoration. According to the French heritage inventory, the house was built in a pared-down style characteristic of the Art Deco of the 1930s.
