Maison Art déco, avenue Prudent Bols 121

Art Deco house with an asymmetrical composition, of 1924, in Laeken. It belongs to a particularly coherent row of buildings with small front gardens, running from no. 115 avenue Prudent Bols to no. 91 rue Laneau. The red-brick façade is enhanced with white stone and white imitation stone, now painted, as well as bluestone; a forward section on a trapezoidal plan carries a terrace with a balustrade. The mansard roof is fronted by a wide dormer with a scalloped crown with volutes, marked by a projecting timber window. The small-paned joinery and the front-garden railing survive; the building is recorded in the inventory.
