Art Deco house of asymmetrical composition, designed in 1936 by the architect A. Kiekens and signed "A. KIEKENS FILS" on the base. The yellow-brick façade with emphasised horizontal joints is set off with bluestone forming massive surrounds. The stepped main bay, pierced by a semi-sunken garage entrance, is surmounted by a two-storey bow window with a shaped plan on a corbel, topped by a terrace with a cut-out parapet. The entrance, reached by a long flight of steps, is surmounted by a small balcony with a wrought-iron railing in a vase pattern. Most of the joinery survives, including the garage door with oval stained-glass oculi; the house is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
